MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611089528 A) filed by Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University on July 23, 2026, for Prebiotic Power Mix Preparation Apparatus.
Inventors include Dr. Anamika Dixit; Aamena Zaidi; Deeksha; Dr. Neha Shukla; and Dr. Alka Katiyar.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed is a prebiotic power mix preparation apparatus comprising segregated ingredient-conditioning cartridges for receiving chicory root, asparagus, sweet potato, mung bean, chickpea, fig, apricot, gooseberry, and jaggery. A moisture-equalization manifold exposes the ingredients to controlled dry-air flow before size reduction. A batch transfer gate releases conditioned ingredients in predetermined portions into a comminution chamber comprising a cooled milling interface for forming prebiotic powder fractions. A probiotic dosing hopper isolated from the comminution chamber introduces a probiotic supplement fraction after formation of the prebiotic powder fractions. A tumbling homogenization drum positioned downstream of the comminution chamber and the probiotic dosing hopper combines the prebiotic powder fractions and probiotic supplement fraction under low-shear dry-mixing conditions.
