Abstract: The present application relates to a PPDU transmission method based on frequency band stitching, and a related apparatus. The method comprises: a communication apparatus generating and sending a PPDU, wherein the PPDU comprises a first segment and a second segment, transmission frequency bands of the two segments are different, and there is an inactive segment between the two segments; and the communication apparatus not emitting a UWB pulse within the duration of the inactive segment. By means of the present application, the requirement for frequency switching can be met. The present application is applied to a UWB-based WPAN system, a sensing system, etc., which comprise 802.15 series protocols, such as 802.15.4ab or 802.15.4ab next-generation systems, etc. The present invention can also be applied to a WLAN system of 802.11 series protocols, such as 802.11ax next-generation protocols, for example, 802.11be, WiFi 7 or EHT, and 802.11be next-generation protocols, for example, WiFi 8, UHR and Wi-Fi AI.
