MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621101642 A) filed by General Industrial Controls Private Limited on August 22, 2026, for Power Supply System For Ultra-Wide Ac Input Voltage Range.

Inventors include Asnikar, Kashinath Narayan; and Lunawat, Harshal Subhash.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a power supply system (200) for an ultra-wide alternating-current (AC) input voltage range, such as 500 VAC RMS to 1000 VAC RMS. The power supply system (200) includes a capacitive dropper network (202) configured to receive an AC input and limit current using capacitive reactance, and a rectification arrangement (204) configured to generate an output current based on the limited current. The output current is received by a common output current path (216) and shared between a control section (214) and an actuation section having a plurality of actuation elements. The control section (214) performs control, sensing, or logic functions using the output current, while the actuation elements drive respective loads using the output current. The shared current architecture determines a maximum output current requirement based on a shared current requirement rather than additive control and actuation current requirements.
