MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641077411 A) filed by Dr. V. Ravi Raj on June 23, 2026, for Power Generation Using Wind Rotor With Pvc Blades.

Inventors include Dr. V. Ravi Raj; Charan B; and Dhanajayan G.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cost-effective wind power generation system employing aerodynamically configured Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) rotor blades for converting wind energy into electrical energy. The system comprises a support frame, a rotor assembly having a plurality of lightweight PVC blades mounted on a central hub, a rotating shaft, a power transmission mechanism, and an electrical generator. The PVC blades are shaped to provide optimized aerodynamic performance and are arranged at predetermined angular positions to maximize wind energy capture. Wind-induced rotation of the rotor drives the shaft, which transfers mechanical energy to the generator for electricity production. The lightweight and corrosion-resistant properties of PVC enable efficient operation at relatively low wind speeds while reducing manufacturing and maintenance costs. The generated electrical power may be supplied directly to electrical loads or stored in batteries. The invention provides an economical, durable, scalable, and environmentally sustainable solution for decentralized renewable energy generation applications.
