Abstract: The present invention provides a pouring material for a firing furnace, the pouring material being capable of suppressing physical impacts from in-furnace objects, and also suppressing alkali attack without requiring a drying step after pouring construction. A pouring material for a firing furnace according to the present invention contains: 75 mass% or more in total amount of at least one among an alumina raw material, an alumina-silica raw material, or a silicon carbide raw material; 1 mass% to 15 mass% of silica flour. The pouring material is obtained by adding colloidal silica as a SiO2 component at an addition rate of 0.5 mass% to 5 mass% to a refractory raw material mixture in which the CaO component content derived from alumina cement is 0.5 mass% or less (including zero).
