A telemetry acquisition architecture optimized for two-wheeler electrical environments utilizes stabilized power delivery through Li-ion battery arrangements and DC-DC voltage regulation to minimize electrical noise and improve sensing reliability. The system further includes a processing pipeline configured to detect vertical acceleration events and classify potholes using negative-g wheel-drop characteristics that distinguish potholes from speed breakers and other road irregularities. False positives are reduced through speed-aware suppression mechanisms that ignore anomaly events below predefined vehicle speed thresholds. Sensor data quality is improved through a multi-stage telemetry validation funnel that filters records based on GPS signal quality, synchronization integrity, and telemetry latency constraints. The disclosed platform additionally provides automated pothole severity labeling using physics-based vibration thresholds, thereby eliminating the need for manual annotation during training data generation. Processed telemetry data is aggregated into a geospatial analytics platform capable of comparing ride logs collected over different time periods to visualize pothole progression, monitor temporal road deterioration, and prioritize infrastructure maintenance activities.
