Abstract: A posture correction device, comprises of a pliable looped member 101 adapted to be worn around a torso of a user, a thermoelectric thermal unit 102 to maintain a temperature of the member 101 for comfort of the user, a wireless communication module to input a command regarding adjusting temperature of the member 101, a plurality of support structures 103 of a shape memory alloy for maintaining an upright posture, a heating element 104 to revert the structures 103 to original shape to force the user to maintain correct posture, an inertial measurement unit 105 to detect an instant posture of the user and heat the structures 103 to redirect the structures 103 to original shape to force the user to maintain correct posture, a microphone 106 for receiving an audio command from the user regarding correcting posture.
