Abstract: The PACU (Post Anaesthesia Care Unit) management system is designed to improve patient monitoring and communication between nurses and doctors during post- operative care. The application consists of a mobile platform developed using Java and a web platform developed using React, with Node.js and TypeScript used for backend services and PostgreSQL for database management. The system enables nurses to record and update patient vital signs in real time, while doctors can remotely access patient information through shared patient IDs and provide immediate medical instructions from any location. The proposed solution enhances healthcare efficiency by reducing communication delays, improving accessibility to patient records, and supporting faster clinical decision-making during critical recovery periods. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of integrating modern mobile and web technologies in healthcare environments to improve patient safety, workflow management, and overall operational efficiency in PACU monitoring systems. The application includes a Java-based mobile platform for nurses and a React-based web platform for doctors, supported by Nodejs with TypeScript and PostgreSQL for backend processing and database management. Nurses can update patient vital signs and recovery details in real time, while doctors can remotely monitor patient conditions through patient ID access and provide immediate medical instructions. The system improves healthcare efficiency by reducing communication delays, enabling centralized patient data management, and supporting faster medical decision making during critical recovery periods. The study highlights the importance of integrating modem mobile and web technologies to improve patient safety, workflow efficiency, and remote healthcare accessibility in PACU environments.
