Abstract: ABSTRACT: Portable Sensor-Enabled System for Socio-Economic Assessment of Baiga Tribal Households This invention describes a portable sensor-enabled socio-economic determinant assessment system configured for structured field evaluation of Baiga tribal households in Mandla District, Madhya Pradesh. The system enables authenticated, geotagged, multilingual, evidence-supported and offline-capable collection of household, livelihood, health, education, nutrition, infrastructure, resource-access and welfare indicators. The system includes a handheld electronic unit with respondent verification, location sensing, image capture, encrypted local storage, guided questionnaire operation and a socio-economic determinant computation engine. The computation engine processes classified field inputs to generate weighted sub-indices relating to livelihood security, education access, health vulnerability, food security, housing adequacy, sanitation, documentation, welfare inclusion and geographic isolation. The system detects inconsistent or incomplete records, prevents duplicate enrolment, stores consent-linked field evidence and synchronizes data with a remote analytical server upon network availability, thereby enabling repeatable assessment, vulnerability classification, administrative planning and longitudinal monitoring of tribal socio-economic conditions.
