Abstract: A portable lap-compatible working assistive device, comprises of a frame 101 having a pair of C-shaped structures 102 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface over a user’s lap, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 to determine body dimensions of the user, multiple telescopically operated rods 104 to extend/retract for elevating the frame 101 at a required height to establish a secured and stable surface for the user to keep the user’s laptop or documents over the user’s lap while working in a user-desired posture, a touch interactive display panel 105 to give input for adjusting orientation of the frame 101 with respect to the user’s body, a temperature sensor for detecting temperature of the frame’s surface, and a heating element to produce heating effect on the frame’s surface for maintaining an optimum temperature on the frame 101.
