Abstract: ABSTRACT “PORTABLE LABORATORY IMAGING BOX” A compact, portable laboratory imaging box for shadow-free, uniformly illuminated, and reproducible imaging of scientific samples is disclosed. The device comprises an enclosed rectangular chamber having light-diffusing white interior walls and an internal lighting system with four light sources positioned at four upper corners to deliver glare-free light across a sample plane. The chamber includes a flat base holder for horizontal samples and a side holder for vertical samples. Dual precision viewports on the top and right side walls fix the focal distance and camera orientation for external mobile devices. The apparatus isolates samples from ambient laboratory light fluctuations, eliminating reflections and shadows to provide high-fidelity, quantitative image documentation.
