Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable hybrid solar-electrical fish drying chamber designed to provide efficient, hygienic, and continuous drying of fish. The system utilizes solar energy as the primary heat source through an integrated solar collector, while an auxiliary electrical heating unit ensures uninterrupted operation during low sunlight or nighttime conditions. The drying chamber comprises an enclosed structure with multiple trays for uniform placement of fish, along with an air circulation system to maintain consistent temperature and airflow. Additionally, an ultraviolet (UV-C) light system is incorporated to reduce microbial contamination and enhance the safety and shelf life of the dried product. The chamber is constructed using lightweight, corrosion-resistant materials and is designed for portability, making it suitable for use in coastal, rural, and remote areas. The invention offers improved drying efficiency, reduced processing time, enhanced product quality, and energy savings compared to conventional drying methods.
