Abstract: ABSTRACT PORTABLE FULLY AUTOMATIC CAR SHADE The present invention discloses an automated environment-responsive vehicle protection system (100) comprising a housing (102) mounted on a roof portion of a vehicle and accommodating a plurality of retractable protective sheets wound around corresponding roller assemblies (106). One or more drive motors (108) operatively coupled with the roller assemblies selectively deploy and retract the retractable protective sheets under control of a Control unit (112). An environmental sensing unit (110) configured to monitor temperature conditions, wind conditions, and vehicle operational states provides input signals to the control unit. The control unit automatically deploys the retractable protective sheets when a detected temperature exceeds a predetermined threshold and the vehicle is determined to be stationary, and automatically retracts the retractable protective sheets when detected wind conditions exceed a predetermined threshold. The retractable protective sheets may further comprise integrated photovoltaic layers configured to generate electrical energy during deployment. (To be published along with FIG. 1)
