The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: A portable electrochemical device for rapid on-site detection of counterfeit pharmaceutical products is disclosed. The device comprises an electrochemical sensing module with working, reference, and counter electrodes configured to generate response signals upon interaction with a pharmaceutical sample. A signal acquisition unit captures and digitizes the signals, while a processing unit extracts characteristic features and compares them with stored reference electrochemical signatures of authentic products. A classification module determines the authenticity of the sample, and a user interface displays the results in real time. The device supports analysis of solid, liquid, or dissolved samples using techniques including voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy. The system is compact, battery-operated, and optionally enabled with wireless communication for data sharing, thereby facilitating rapid, accurate, and field-deployable detection of counterfeit medicines.
