Abstract: [0060] A portable electric power distribution system modelling and simulation device is described, featuring a processing unit, display, and power supply. The processing unit is an edge computing single board computer capable of executing a power flow engine for load flow analysis of radial distribution systems. The device includes an integrated touchscreen for user interaction and a self- contained portable power supply for field-independent operation. It also features a power system analysis engine for power flow analysis and visualization of radial network topology, and a simulator integration system for interfacing with external real-time simulation platforms. Additional functionalities include secure communication, external connectivity interfaces, and an input validation system. The device is suitable for educational, training, research, and field-deployable applications, and supports integrated transmission and distribution system analysis when connected to external simulators.
