MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641064075 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education on May 21, 2026, for Portable Airflow Exhaust System With Expandable Bellows Duct And Protective Enclosure Assembly.
Inventors include Dr. S. Shasi Anand; and Dr. P. Jayakumar.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: Title: AIRFLOW EXHAUST SYSTEM WITH EXPANDABLE BELLOWS DUCT AND PROTECTIVE ENCLOSURE ASSEMBLY 10 15 20 The titled invention discloses a portable air exhaust system for centralized airconditioned environments. The system incorporates a dual-layer protective enclosure assembly and an expandable bellows duct for secure and flexible airflow transmission to an external environment. The enclosure cabin (1) is formed by the supporting frame (2) together with a dual-layer protective arrangement comprising the welding mesh protective layer (3) and the secondary filter Jayer (4) for protecting the exhaust fan assembly (8) from accidental contact, debris entry, dust, and particulate matter. The airflow distribution chamber (6) forms an upper portion of the enclosure cabin (1) and supports the exhaust fan assembly (8) through the fan mounting bracket (7). The expandable bellows duct (9) is mounted above the exhaust fan assembly (8) for flexible and guided airflow transmission toward an external environment, while the bellow end clamp (10) secures the expandable bellows duct (9) to an exterior outlet. The wheels (5) enable portability of the system for ventilation and exhaust airflow management in centralized air-conditioned environments.
