Abstract: PORTABLE AI-BASED NON-INVASIVE ANEMIA SCREENING SYSTEM USING CONFIDENCE-BASED ADAPTIVE SENSOR VALIDATION The present invention relates to medical diagnostic systems, and non-invasive anemia detection technology. The invention relates to a portable AI-based non-invasive anemia screening system, comprising an image acquisition module (201), a preprocessing module(202), an AI processing platform(203), a feature extraction module(204), a CNN analysis module(205), a confidence evaluation module(206), a data fusion engine(207), an optical finger sensor module(208), a result generation module(209), a display and user interface module(210) and a power management module(211). The system takes images of eye conjunctiva, fingernail and palm and outputs probability of anemia prediction and confidence score values. The confidence score passes a predefined threshold condition, and then the direct anemia classification result is generated based on the confidence evaluation. In case of the confidence score not fulfilling the threshold condition, the physiological information is acquired by the optical finger sensor module and integrated with the AI prediction outputs via the data fusion engine for the enhancement of the diagnostic reliability. The method comprises: image acquisition (101), preprocessing (102), feature extraction (103), analysis by CNN (104), confidence evaluation (105), adaptive sensor activation (107), data fusion (109), classification of anemia (110) and display of results (111). The invention enables confidence-based adaptive sensor validation, multimodal data fusion and portable offline screening for reliable anemia detection in hospitals, mobile clinics and low-resource healthcare settings.
