Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for transporting chlorinated water comprising the step of conveying the water through a pipe made of a polyolefin comprising a hydrotalcite mineral and a hydrazide of the formula (I) as defined herein. The present invention also relates to a pipe for transporting the chlorinated water where the pipe is made of the polyolefin comprising the hydrotalcite mineral and the hydrazide of the formula (I); to a method for preparing the pipe comprising contacting the polyolefin, the hydrotalcite mineral and the hydrazide of the formula (I); and to a use of the hydrotalcite mineral and the hydrazide of the formula (I) for stabilizing a pipe made of a polyolefin against chlorinated water.
