Abstract: A polymethyl methacrylate bone cement powder composition (112A) comprising a first polymethyl methacrylate component (102B) having a particle size distribution in a range of 80 µm to 90 µm, and a second polymethyl methacrylate component (104B) having a particle size distribution in a range of 45 µm to 55 µm, a radiopacifier, and an initiator. The first polymethyl methacrylate component (102B) and the second polymethyl methacrylate component (104B) are blended in a range of 70:30 to 90:10 to form a PMMA powder composition. The PMMA powder composition is combined with the radiopacifier and the initiator to form a solid component powder. The solid component powder is mixed with a liquid monomer to form the polymethyl methacrylate bone cement powder composition (112A).
