Abstract: ABSTRACT DEVX32 is a low-cost, ali-in-one embedded development platfonn built on the ESP32-S3 microcontroller, designed to support modem loT, robotics, and distributed monitoring applications. The system integrates a wide-range power input (3.3V-12V) using a buck-boost converter, along with supercapacitor-based energy buffering to ensure stable operation under varying supply conditions. It incorporates RS-485 communication for reliable long-distance and multicnode data transfer in industrial environments. The platform also includes onboard microSD storage for local data logging and a modular interface tor easy peripheral expansion. A lightweight custom DEVX OS runs on the system, enabling real- time monitoring, device control, and wireless communication through Wi-Fi. A proof-of-concept prototype was developed and validated, demonstrating stable power regulation, reliable communication, and consistent system performance across all integrated modules. The platform is suitable for scalable, low-cost, and efficient embedded system deployment in real-world applications.
