The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: PNEUMATIC RADIAL TYRE HAVING ENHANCED PENETRATION RESISTANCE AND AIR RETENTION PERFORMANCE The present invention provides a pneumatic radial tyre (10) having enhanced penetration resistance and air retention performance. The tyre (10) comprises a tread (12) disposed circumferentially around an outer periphery of the tyre (10); a carcass (14) comprising at least one radial carcass ply; and a belt package (16) disposed radially between the tread (12) and the carcass (14), the belt package (16) comprising a protector belt layer (16a), at least two working belt layers (16b), and a transition belt layer (16c). The working belt layers (16b) are extended axially such that the ratio of combined belt width of the working belt layers (16b) to tread arc width (TAW) of the tread (12) is in the range of 89% to 93%. The tyre (10) further comprises shoulder pads (18) placed beneath the belt package (16) and across the shoulder regions (20) of the tyre (10) and having inward edges (18a) positioned axially inward such that the shoulder pads (18) cover approximately 70% to 75% of TAW.
