MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611104389 A) filed by Nims University Rajasthan, Jaipur on August 25, 2026, for Pneumatic Airborne Ejection System And Method Thereof.
Inventors include Udita Shrivastava; and Guttula Rushitha.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: A pneumatic airborne ejection system (100) for aerospace vehicles is disclosed, comprising a high-pressure pneumatic actuator assembly (101) including a cylinder (101a), piston rod assembly (101b), and guide rail interface (101c); a compressed gas reservoir assembly (102) including a pressure vessel (102a), solenoid valve (102b), and rupture disc (102c); and a multi-stage pressure regulation module (103) including valve stages (103a, 103b, 103c). An electronic control unit (104) with memory modules (104b, 104b-1) processes data from a sensor array (105). A canopy severance mechanism (106), stabilisation system (107), parachute interface (108), and safety interlock system (109) ensure controlled operation. An IoT-enabled telemetry module (110) provides monitoring and diagnostics. The system enables adaptive, rapid, and safe ejection with improved reliability and reduced dependence on pyrotechnic systems.
