Abstract: Our project presents a simple yet smart idea — a Plug Activated Switch Board that works without any buttons. In most homes and classrooms, we still rely on traditional switch boards where each device must be turned ON or OFF using mechanical switches. These switches often get damaged over time due to repeated use, dust, or sparking. They also require constant physical handling, which can sometimes be unsafe. To solve these everyday problems, our project introduces a switch board. The working principle of the model is straight forward. This reduces the number of mechanical parts and makes the board more durable and easier to maintain. It also improves safety because users do not have to touch exposed switches or wires. This design is especially useful in places where quick and safe operation is required such as homes, workshops, laboratories, and classrooms.
