Abstract: Provided are: a plated steel sheet that is provided with a base steel sheet and a plating layer disposed on the surface of the base steel sheet, and that is characterized in that the base steel sheet has a chemical composition containing, in mass%, 0.010-1.000% of Ni, 0.010-1.000% of Cu, and 0.003-1.000% of Sn, and the thickness of the plating layer in which the total concentration of Zn and/or Mn is at least 60 mass% is not less than 0.10 µm but less than 1.00 µm in an element distribution image obtained by measuring a cross-section of the plated steel sheet by using an EPMA; and a component including the plated steel sheet.
