MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641076740 A) filed by Ifet College Of Engineering on June 21, 2026, for Plant Health And Soil Nutrient Responsive Dispensing System.

Inventors include Ms. P. Pravina; Mr. R. Anandha Krishnan; and Mr. S. Deepan.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: A plant health and soil nutrient responsive dispensing system (100) is disclosed. The system comprises a plant image acquisition module (102), a soil macronutrient sensing module (104), a processing and decision control unit (106), a plant condition classification module (108), a nutrient evaluation module (110), a hybrid decision engine (112), a relay switching module (114), a fertilizer and treatment dispensing pump (116), a user information display module (118), a wireless communication module (120), and a power supply module (122). The plant image acquisition module (102) generates plant-condition information, while the soil macronutrient sensing module (104) generates nutrient measurements representative of soil nutrient status. The hybrid decision engine (112) performs a combined evaluation of the plant-condition information and nutrient-status information to generate a dispensing control signal. The relay switching module (114) selectively actuates the fertilizer and treatment dispensing pump (116) for condition-based dispensing. The system enables coordinated plant health monitoring, soil nutrient assessment, and automated agricultural intervention with reduced unnecessary input application and improved resource utilization.
