Abstract: The present invention relates to a stretchable device designed for monitoring and alerting cervical and lumbar posture disorders, applicable in fields such as healthcare, occupational health, sports, automotive, and consumer electronics. The device comprises a stretchable sensor made of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) embedded in a polymer matrix of poly(vinylidene fluoride)-co-hexafluoropropylene (PVDF-HFP) combined with an ionic liquid, which generates electrical signals in response to mechanical stress. A plurality of electrodes is positioned in contact with the stretchable sensor to capture these signals, which are then processed by a microcontroller to determine posture-related data. An alert system provides real-time feedback to the user based on this data, notifying them of potential cervical or lumbar distress. The stretchable sensor is designed to conform to the body's movements, detecting changes in pressure and deformation caused by incorrect posture, and can be worn like a sticky tape beneath clothing.
