The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: PHOTOVOLTAIC APPARATUS WITH FREQUENCY-ASSIGNED PANEL MOUNTINGS FOR SINGLE-SENSOR PER-PANEL MECHANICAL CONDITION MONITORING A photovoltaic apparatus (100) has panels (102a-102h) on compliant mountings (104), connected in parallel to a common bus (112) with one current- sensing element (108) and a spectral analysis circuit (110). Each mounting gives its panel a distinct assigned natural frequency; adjacent frequencies differ by a ratio of at least 1.06 and all lie within a span of 1.80. Each panel is held at a mean incidence offset of 3 to 25 degrees to the sun, so that wind-induced vibration modulates the bus current at first order at the frequency of each panel. The circuit attributes each spectral line to its panel, removes the common temperature drift and reports each panel as healthy, degraded or absent. Modelling predicts localization of a 6% stiffness loss or a removed panel among eight panels with 97% to 100% accuracy, against 0% for identical panels aimed at the sun. FIG. 1
