The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT Photometric Sample Holder System with Automatic On and Off Functionality The invention relates to a photometric sample holder system [101] designed for field-level testing, comprising a glass vial [100] to hold the sample, a sample holder [101] configured to secure the vial, and a pressure-sensitive switch [102] integrated into the holder. The switch automatically activates the photometric equipment when the vial is placed into the holder and deactivates it when the vial is removed, eliminating manual on/off operation. The switch requires minimal pressure for activation and is calibrated to detect a predefined pressure exerted by the vial to ensure reliable operation. The system includes an activation mechanism [103] to prevent false activation and a spring mechanism or sensor [104] to deactivate the equipment once the vial is removed, conserving energy. Constructed from durable, corrosion-resistant materials, the holder accommodates a range of vial sizes for diverse applications.
