Abstract: ABSTRACT PHOTOGRAPHIC FOOTPRINT GLASS BOX FOR STATIC AND DYNAMIC FOOT EVALUATION The present invention relates to a photographic footprint apparatus for static and dynamic foot evaluation. The apparatus comprises a supporting frame, a transparent load-bearing platform configured to receive at least one foot of a subject, at least one foot-positioning region, an imaging space beneath the transparent platform, and an image acquisition device positioned or positionable within the imaging space. The image acquisition device captures a plantar image through the transparent platform during a static weight-bearing condition and captures a plurality of plantar images during a controlled change in loading or position of the foot. The acquired images may be used to determine or compare foot parameters including the Chippaux-Smirak Index, Staheli Index and Clarke’s angle. The apparatus provides a non-invasive and repeatable system for photographic documentation and evaluation of plantar-foot characteristics.
