Inventors include Sovan Kumar Patra; Gajanan Uddhaorao Kapure; Guguloth Venkanna; Kamal Kishore Pant; and Shreya Singh.

Abstract: PHOTOELECTRODE FOR CO2 REDUCTION, METHODS AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF The present disclosure relates to photo electrocatalytic reduction (PECR) of CO2, means and methods thereof. More particularly, the present disclosure provides a Z-schematic photoelectrode comprising an oxide-based nanotube array, noble metal, and copper oxide for facilitating the said reduction of CO2, a method for its fabrication and applications thereof. The photoelectrode facilitates efficient reduction of CO2, without any reliance on fossil fuels while yielding products of economic significance.
