Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a phonetic pattern-based automated English grammar correction system configured to improve grammatical correction accuracy by integrating phonetic analysis with contextual linguistic processing. The system comprises an input acquisition module, an acoustic preprocessing module, a phonetic feature extraction engine, a pronunciation pattern analysis engine, a speech recognition engine, a contextual grammar inference engine, a semantic validation engine, a confidence evaluation module, a machine learning adaptation module, and a correction generation engine. Speech or textual input is processed to extract phonetic features including phoneme sequences, syllable structures, articulation characteristics, pronunciation confidence values, and intonation patterns. The extracted phonetic information is analyzed together with contextual grammatical relationships and semantic information to identify pronunciation-induced grammatical errors, homophone substitutions, tense inconsistencies, subject-verb agreement errors, article misuse, pronoun selection errors, and contextual sentence formation inaccuracies.
