The proposed system addresses the limitations of conventional phishing detection techniques by employing a multi-layered framework that integrates Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) for real-time identification and mitigation of sophisticated phishing attacks. The system collects and analyzes data from multiple sources, including URLs, emails, web pages, domain attributes, user behavior patterns, and communication content. A feature extraction engine derives lexical, structural, semantic, behavioral, and contextual attributes, which are processed by an ensemble of AI models to classify phishing threats with high accuracy. The invention further incorporates adaptive learning mechanisms that continuously update detection models based on emerging attack patterns, thereby enhancing resilience against zero-day phishing attacks and AI-generated phishing content. An explainability module provides transparent and interpretable decision outputs, enabling users and security administrators to understand the rationale behind threat classifications. Upon detection of a phishing attempt, an autonomous response module initiates preventive actions such as user alerts, access blocking, domain blacklisting, and threat reporting.
