Abstract: The present invention discloses a pH-responsive polymeric nanoparticle formulation encapsulating essential oils for targeted anti- dandruff treatment. The formulation utilizes biocompatible polymers to encapsulate antifungal essential oils and enables controlled release in response to scalp conditions such as pH and sebum. The nanoparticles enhance retention, stability, and efficacy of the active ingredients while reducing irritation and resistance. The system is compatible with cosmetic formulations such as shampoos and provides prolonged antifungal action, thereby offering an improved solution for dandruff management.
