MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641079992 A) filed by Sona College Of Technology on June 29, 2026, for Personalized Hydration Guidance System Using Multi-Parameter Sensing.

Inventors include Dhayanithi J; Basker N; and Prithiviraj A.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A personalized hydration guidance system (100) and method are disclosed for generating real-time individualized hydration recommendations. The system comprises a color sensing module (106) configured to acquire urine color information, an anthropometric sensing arrangement (110,112) configured to determine user height and weight, a real-time clock module (118), an environmental sensing module (120), a processing and control unit (116), and a display unit (114). A multi-parameter hydration recommendation engine (122) integrates hydration status, body surface area, environmental conditions, and temporal factors to generate a quantitative water intake directive. The generated recommendation is displayed to the user for improved hydration management and preventive health monitoring.
