The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: A wearable muscle fatigue monitoring and closed-loop recovery system is disclosed, comprising an EMG sensor and an inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor mounted to a common limb segment, whose signals are fused and processed by an on-device trained classifier, comprising a one-dimensional convolutional neural network combined with a bidirectional long short-term memory network, executing on an Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W embedded microcontroller. During sustained isometric muscle contraction, the IMU detects involuntary tremor and postural drift as a corroborating fatigue signature alongside the EMG signal. Upon classification of a fatigued state, the device automatically activates a closed-loop recovery response comprising a vibration motor and a resistive heating pad, the latter continuously monitored by a thermistor-based thermal safety cutoff that operates independently of the fatigue-classification logic. Session data is logged to a cloud database and accessible via a companion smartphone application, supporting both single-user and multi-user deployment. The invention combines EMG-IMU sensor fusion, on- device deep-learning-based fatigue classification, and automatic closed-loop mechanical and thermal recovery actuation within a single low-power wearable device.
