Abstract: ABSTRACT PERSISTENT STRUCTURED DATA INTERFACE FOR LARGE LANGUAGE MODEL INFERENCE OVER UNSTRUCTURED ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS A present disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method and system construct a persistent ontology-aligned structured data interface for large language model (LLM) inference over unstructured electronic documents. A document ingestion engine receives one or more unstructured electronic documents, from which a document extraction engine extracts discrete field-level parameter records. The records are mapped to a standardized domain ontology and stored with metadata in a structured database. Upon receiving a natural-language query, a hybrid retrieval operation performs deterministic ontology-based retrieval and semantic vector-based retrieval, combines retrieved records using weighted composite scoring, and generates a ranked subset of relevant field-level parameter records. A structured inference input comprising the ranked subset is transmitted with a task-isolation instruction to the LLM, thereby separating document parsing from inference- time reasoning, reducing input tokens, computational operations, and computational resource utilization while improving.
