Abstract: ABSTRACT PERMEABLE PAVER BLOCK SYSTEM FOR ROADSIDE DRAINAGE AND GROUNDWATER RECHARGE The present invention relates to a permeable paver block system configured for roadside drainage, stormwater infiltration, and groundwater recharge applications. More particularly, the invention discloses permeable paver blocks having interconnected void structures and layered drainage infrastructure configured to permit rapid infiltration of rainwater while maintaining sufficient compressive strength for vehicular and pedestrian loads. The invention comprises cementitious paver blocks manufactured using cement, fine aggregates, coarse aggregates, and optional additives including fly ash and polymer modifiers. The paver blocks incorporate interconnected channels and permeable joints configured to facilitate controlled water infiltration into an underlying drainage sub-base system. The layered installation system includes a prepared subgrade, coarse aggregate drainage layers, optional geotextile membranes, and permeable paving blocks configured to reduce surface runoff, waterlogging, and urban flooding. The disclosed system enhances stormwater management, groundwater recharge, and environmental sustainability while reducing dependency upon conventional roadside drainage infrastructure. The invention is suitable for roadsides, parking areas, pedestrian pathways, smart city infrastructure, and sustainable urban drainage systems. [To be published along with Figure 1]
