Abstract: Abstract PERIODIC INSPECTION OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for the periodic inspection of electrical installations, in particular field devices (1), comprising: receiving image data relating to an electrical installation, evaluating the image data to determine whether the electrical installation is in the proper state, wherein the evaluation of the image data is based on machine learning and/or artificial intelligence, and generating a report indicating whether the electrical installation is in the proper state. According to a further aspect of the invention, system for the periodic inspection of electrical installations is proposed.
