Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure provide user equipment, network entities, methods, and processors for performance monitoring for beam prediction. In some embodiments, a user equipment receives from a network entity a first resource configuration indicating a first resource set for obtaining measured beams and a second resource configuration indicating a second resource set for obtaining predicated beams. The user equipment obtains a first reporting configuration for the first resource set to report performance of a beam prediction, wherein the performance is based on the first resource set and the second resource set. The user equipment transmits to the network entity a first report including the performance of the beam prediction based on the first reporting configuration. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the accuracy of the beam prediction can be significantly improved and processing delays can be effectively reduced.
