Abstract: Abstract I This project presents the design and performance analysis of a hybrid-powered ventilation system aimed at improving indoor air quality and thermal comfort in enclosed spaces. The system primarily utilizes solar energy to operate an inline exhaust fan, with a rechargeable battery providing backup power during low sunlight conditions, A network of PVC conduits, inlet manifolds, and air outlets is used to ensure efficient airflow by creating a pressure difference that removes stale air and introduces fresh air into the space. The system is designed for energy-efficient and autonomous operation, with the potential integration of sensors for automatic control based on environmental conditions. Performance calculations demonstrate that the system can effectively replace the air within the room multiple times per hour, ensuring adequate ventilation. Overall, the proposed system is a cost-effective, eco-friendly, and sustainable solution suitable for residential, commercial, and off-grid applications, reducing reliance on conventional energy sources while enhancing occupant comfort.
