The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition of pentacosadiynoic acid-based vesicles for analyte detection, said vesicles comprising 10,12-pentacosadiynoic acid and a negatively charged surfactant being sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate. The vesicles are pH resistant and can be used for detection of a variety of analytes. The invention is also a simple method of preparing the vesicles by co-mixing and sonication. The invention is also a kit for detecting an analyte from a sample, said kit containing a formulation of the present vesicles, wherein the sample when mixed with the formulation results in binding of the analyte with the pentacosadiynoic acid based vesicles and said binding can be detected spectroscopically and visually via a color change from blue to red (Figure 1a).
