Abstract: ABSTRACT PEG-BASED ARBORININE TOPICAL COMPOSITION FOR INFLAMMATION MANAGEMENT A topical pharmaceutical composition for inflammation management comprises arborinine as an active pharmaceutical ingredient and a polyethylene glycol (PEG)-based matrix comprising PEG 400 and PEG 4000. The composition is configured for topical administration to a site of inflammation. The PEG 400 functions as a solvent and penetration enhancer, while the PEG 4000 establishes a semi-solid network within the formulation. The composition may further comprise glycerin, glyceryl monostearate, and one or more preservatives selected from methyl paraben, propyl paraben, and disodium EDTA. The composition may exhibit a pH in the range of 6.1 to 6.8 and may be capable of modulating inflammatory pathways associated with bradykinin receptor B1 (BDKRB1), leukotriene B4 receptor 1 (BLT1), and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). The composition may be in the form of a cream, gel, or lotion. (Fig. 1)
