Abstract: ABSTRACT PEER-TO-PEER SKILL EXCHANGE PLATFORM WITH AI-DRIVEN HYBRID MATCHING AND TRUST SCORING SYSTEM The present invention discloses a peer-to-peer skill exchange platform (100) enabling non-monetary skill exchange between users through an integrated system comprising a frontend module (110), a backend module (120), a database module (130), a communication module (140), a hybrid matching engine (150), a dynamic trust scoring system (160), and a scam detection and safety system (170). The platform is implemented using a three-tier MERN-stack architecture with a Python-based machine learning microservice. The hybrid matching engine (150) computes composite matching scores using a weighted formula combining semantic similarity, interaction history, trust score, and skill overlap. The dynamic trust scoring system (160) continuously evaluates user reliability and assigns trust badges. The scam detection and safety system (170) employs multi-layered scanning comprising keyword scanning, pattern recognition, and behavioral analysis to protect users from fraudulent activities. The platform facilitates structured skill exchange through profile-based matching, request lifecycle management, real-time messaging, and video calling capabilities. [
