Abstract: The rapid advancement of internet technologies and the growing adoption of online shopping have led to an increased demand for efficient, secure, and intelligent e- commerce platforms. Modern consumers expect seamless browsing experiences, personalized product recommendations, and reliable payment systems. Traditional e- commerce platforms primarily focus on basic product listing and transaction processing, while recommendation systems often rely solely on customer purchase history or browsing behavior. Such approaches fail to consider real-world economic and operational factors such as vendor sales patterns, product availability, and optimal purchase timing. Addressing these limitations, this project presents a React-based e-commerce platform integrated with secure payment processing and an enhanced recommendation framework. The proposed system utilizes React.js to develop a dynamic, responsive, and scalable front-end interface that improves user interaction and overall shopping experience. The component-based architecture of React enables efficient rendering, easy maintenance, and adaptability to future enhancements. Users can register, log in, browse products, add items to a shopping cart, and place orders through a streamlined checkout process. The platform supports multiple secure payment options, including credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and digital wallets, ensuring transaction reliability and data confidentiality. A key contribution of this project is the intelligent recommendation mechanism designed to provide more relevant and economically beneficial product suggestions. In addition to analyzing customer preferences derived from browsing behavior and purchase history, the system incorporates vendor sales data, inventory status, pricing trends, and purchase timing considerations. By combining customer-centric and vendor-centric parameters, the recommendation engine generates context-aware suggestions that better align with consumer needs, budget constraints, and product availability. The system also offers significant benefits to vendors by providing insights into sales trends, inventory movement, and customer demand patterns. These analytics assist vendors in managing stock efficiently, promoting slow-moving products, and optimizing sales strategies. Real-time inventory monitoring ensures that product availability is accurately reflected, reducing order cancellations and improving customer satisfaction. Security is a fundamental aspect of the proposed platform. Secure authentication mechanisms, encrypted data transmission, and trusted payment gateway integration are employed to protect user credentials and financial information. This focus on security enhances user trust and supports safe online transactions. Overall, the proposed React-based e-commerce platform integrates modern web technologies, secure payment systems, and an intelligent recommendation framework into a unified solution. By addressing both customer preferences and economic purchasing considerations, the system improves decision-making, boosts transaction efficiency, and enhances user satisfaction. The project demonstrates how intelligent, data-driven approaches can significantly improve the effectiveness and competitiveness of contemporary e-commerce systems in the evolving digital marketplace.
