Abstract: A pattern carving device for fortifications, comprises of a platform 101 positioned on a ground surface, plurality of motorized wheels 102 for movement of platform 101, an imaging unit 103 to generate a 3-dimensional map of fortification, a display panel 104 for specifying design to be carved, an associated tool on a plate 105 by means of a scissor lift arrangement 106 to get deployed for providing upward vertical translation to plate 105, an extendable L-shaped rod 108 for positioning plank 107 to create a boundary for carving operation, a L-shaped frame 109 for assembling a motorized gripper 110 for securely grabbing manually positioned tool, a Scott-Russel arrangement 111 for carving specified design onto fortification, an extendable L-shaped pole 113 for positioning flap 112 to collect excess mortar falling from fortification in a container 114, a vacuum unit 115 for storing excess mortar.
