Abstract: The present invention provides a removable modular stormwater pollution-isolation cartridge (200) for installation within a drainage structure. The cartridge comprises a cartridge housing (201), debris interception chamber (202) having a debris interception screen (203), sediment settling chamber (204), first-flush isolation chamber (400), outlet pipe (106), mounting flange (208), access cover (209), and lifting lugs (210). A pressure-actuated switching system (300) comprises an enclosed elevated actuator chamber (301), hydraulic actuator (302), restricted pressure communication neck (303), pressure sensing passage (304), and bistable switching gate (308). Initial runoff is directed to the first-flush isolation chamber (400), and upon a hydraulic transition condition the hydraulic actuator (302) moves the switching gate (308) to permit subsequent flow toward the outlet pipe (106). An emergency bypass channel (206) and emergency bypass weir (207) associated with the drainage structure provide an independent path for excessive flow. The mounting flange (208), access cover (209), and lifting lugs (210) facilitate removal and servicing of the cartridge assembly (200).
