Abstract: The invention discloses a compact hybrid vertical-axis wind turbine comprising two helical Darrieus blades and two helical Savonius blades with 360° twist. Thin curved arc sheets attached to the inner edges of Savonius blades eliminate air leakage. The design achieves high starting torque, smooth operation with zero vibration, and high efficiency in low-to-moderate winds, making it ideal for balcony and rooftop installation
