Abstract: 6.ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION (to be given along with complete specification on separate page) PARKEE is a peer-to-peer private parking marketplace designed to connect individuals who own unused parking spaces with drivers seeking secure and convenient parking. Unlike conventional parking applications that primarily list commercial parking facilities, the proposed platform enables homeowners, apartment residents, office owners, and shop owners to rent out their available private parking spaces during selected dates and time slots. Hosts can register on the platform, upload images of their parking spaces, specify location using map integration, define vehicle suitability, set hourly pricing, and configure parking availability based on their preferred schedule. Drivers can search nearby parking spaces, view parking details and images, check availability, pre-book parking slots, and reserve spaces according to their required date and time. The platform also incorporates secure user authentication, booking management, and a review system to enhance user trust and transparency. Developed using React, Vite, Express.js, SQLite, Capacitor, and JWT-based authentication, PARKEE provides a scalable and cost-effective software solution without requiring dedicated parking infrastructure or loT devices. By utilizing underused private parking spaces, the proposed system reduces parking difficulties while creating an additional income opportunity for parking space owners.
