Abstract: A parametric driver-ejector assembly system and simulation workflow provide an efficient method for modeling, validating, and visualizing blind-side fastening operations inside a Building Information Modeling (BIM) environment when dual-side physical access is limited. The system architecture consists of three interlocking nested family components: a housing sleeve fixed flush inside a structural wall cavity, an inner ejector locking pin nested at the bottom of the sleeve, and a dual- threaded driver component acting as a top-inserted actuator. The driver features independent upper threads that mate with internal housing threads and lower threads that catch external ejector threads, allowing rotation vectors to translate into precise, sequential linear displacement of the locking pin through a circular bottom outlet without requiring separate mechanical simulation platforms. Regulated completely via internal Revit family parameters, the system maps step-by-step mechanical installation and expansion behaviors, including an automated shear routine that breaks a midpoint driver support to model a permanent structural lock. Integrated via a dedicated software plugin that supports cartoon-style educational renderings and telecommunication links to Arduino or ESP microcontrollers, this invention bridges the gap between architectural modeling and hands-free mechanical prototyping for STEM outreach, aerospace component design, and modular construction industries.
