The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT A panel-level distributed photovoltaic energy harvesting and battery charging architecture is disclosed for battery-based solar energy systems. The architecture comprises a plurality of photovoltaic panels, each independently associated with a semiconductor conduction module configured to receive a bias derived directly from the electrical output of the associated photovoltaic panel and to provide continuous analogue semiconductor conduction for transferring electrical energy to a common DC charging bus. The architecture enables independent panel-level energy contribution without requiring the photovoltaic panels to be operated as a common series-connected string. The panel-to-bus energy transfer path is configured without an intermediate switched DC-DC conversion stage or an intermediate inductive energy-transfer stage. A battery protection and charging interface is coupled downstream of the common DC charging bus for providing a battery-compatible charging condition. The distributed architecture enables panel-specific electrical contributions to be maintained under varying photovoltaic operating conditions, including partial shading, mismatch, aging and temperature variation. The architecture is particularly applicable to battery-based and off-grid photovoltaic systems and may also be integrated with modular solar structures and other photovoltaic installations requiring distributed DC energy harvesting and charging.
